Canada Landscapes

A selection of plein air landscapes done on the coasts of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, from 2000 to 2025. This area, at the entrance to the Bay of Fundy, has some of the highest tides in the world. Take the normal challenges of painting outdoors (changing weather and light, wind, insects, etc.) and add water that completely disappears and boats that are driven away in the middle of painting them. I love the challenge!
